The Bucks County Executive Network Group (BCENG) was founded in 2002 by the current Board of Directors who identified the need to develop within Bucks County a professional and social network where members can share their talents and knowledge. BCENG’s current members have impressive senior and executive backgrounds in industries as diverse as financial services, manufacturing, e-commerce, telecom, corporate training, organizational design, and human resources. The primary focus for BCENG is to develop a strong professional network in Bucks County and to assist businesses in Bucks County and surrounding communities (the Greater Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas, New Jersey and New York City) find talented business professionals who live in our community.

BCENG welcomes professionals from all industries to join our group and benefit from the resources, contacts, and ideas generated by its members. BCENG will not endorse nor participate in pyramid or mutli-level sales programs. All new members must be approved by the Board of Directors.

BCENG Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is comprised of its founding members as well as key business executives who reside in the Bucks County area. Please see the Board Members biographies below.

Helen Beckschi – President and Chief Administrative Officer

Ms. Beckschi is an accomplished financial manager with consulting, compliance, and audit experience. She has spent most of her career within the management of Fortune 100 financial services organizations and most recently spent several years managing consulting projects for a Big 4 firm.  Helen currently works as a Manager in the Risk Assessment and Assurance Department of GMAC Residential.

Ms. Beckschi is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and has studied in both Europe and the Middle East. She holds a Master’s degree in international economics. She is a founder of several other grass roots networking organizations and is an active member of several alumni and international organizations.

Jeffrey Steele – Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Steele is a Principal Partner in Sandy Hook Venture Advisors, a firm that provides consulting services to early-stage business ventures. Before joining SHVA, Mr. Steele was the Director of Business Operations for Primus Telecommunications AG, Zurich, Switzerland, and Operations Manager for Waller Creek Communications, Inc., Austin, Texas. At Primus, he managed Primus' Swiss business operations. At Waller Creek, a start-up provider of CLEC services in Texas, he developed and managed the company's technical and customer service support teams and managed the build-out of the company’s aerial fiber, office, and residential networks. Prior to attending business school, Mr. Steele held a variety of financial positions in the US and Europe over a five-year period with General Electric's Medical Systems Business Group where he completed the company's prestigious Financial Management Program, a two-year intensive training program focused on finance and accounting.

Mr. Steele holds an MBA in Management from The University of Texas at Austin and received a B.A. in Economics from Williams College.

Sheila Bravo - Vice President of Marketing

Ms. Bravo is an accomplished marketing executive with global brand management, strategic planning and general management experience.  She has spent the majority of her career with multi-national consumer good companies. 

Ms. Bravo holds a Masters in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird), and a Bachelors of Science from Millersville University.    

Patricia Patchet – Vice President and Project Director

Ms. Patchet is a consultant for Membex Interactive, a web design and consulting company located in Warminster, PA. She has over six years experience in operational, technical and business implementation, both domestically and internationally, within the financial and e-commerce industries.

Ms. Patchet obtained Series 7 and 63 certifications while working in portfolio management at Merrill Lynch. Ms. Patchet left Merrill to join VerticalNet Inc., a leading supplier of supply-chain software in the e-commerce industry. While at VerticalNet Inc., Ms. Patchet was responsible for the business and technical project management of the company’s joint ventures in the UK, South Africa and Japan.

Ms Patchet holds a BA in International Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a diploma in International Management from L’Institute Commercial de Nancy, located in Nancy, France. She is fluent in French.
